I can’t hardly believe that our annual Quilt Walk is less than two months away. On June 8^th, we will be hosting our 6^th annual Quilt Walk and we have tons of fun stuff planned!

First of all, what is the Quilt Walk? This event is hosted by my quilt shop, Quilting Is My Therapy in historic downtown Liberty MO (just outside Kansas City). During the Quilt Walk, you’ll be treated to an array of quilts while wandering in and around participating businesses and get the free pattern to make the exclusive Quilt Walk quilt I designed just for this event.

The Quilt Walk is not only lots of fun, it’s free to participate. On June 8^th, from 9am-3pm, stop by the quilt shop to get the map and finishing instructions for the Quilt Walk quilt pattern. Then, visit the shops on the map to get the block patterns. As you collect the pieces of the pattern, you’ll see quilt exhibits, enter to win prizes as well as enjoy the charming downtown area.

The first 100 attendees will also get a free Quilt Walk swag bag!

In addition to the festive fun of Quilt Walk, we have some fun events planned. Keep reading to learn more!

The highlight of the day is a trunk show from this year’s featured quilter, Jenny Doan, from Missouri Star Quilt Company. Jenny Doan has inspired countless quilters throughout the years and she’ll be sharing peek into her quilting journey through her quilts, stories and down-to-earth personality.

Later on that evening, I’ll be hosting dinner party, with a trunk show and lecture. Hosted in an intimate setting with drinks, dinner and desert, this will truly be a uniquely fun night of quilting inspiration.

After dinner, you’ll enjoy an exclusive trunk show and Q&A. I’ll talk about how a fast food manager becomes a professional quilter and get you up close and personal with my quilts.

In addition to the gorgeous historic setting, we have several surprises in store for you! You’ll receive a swag bag full of quilting goodies, door prizes and more. This is something you’re not going to want to miss.

I’ll be hosting hands-on longarm classes at our brand new Longarm Education Center as well an event celebrating machine quilting. It’s sure to be a time of quilting inspiration!
