What is Dot to Dot Quilting?
Dot to Dot quilting is one of my favorite techniques, because it allows you to create designs that look more difficult than they actually are! These versatile designs look great on all types of quilts and in all different sizes of blocks. Plus, they are fun to customize and they give your quilting an intricate look.
This video series starts on January 2nd and is absolutely free!
First, you’ll learn the two basic shapes that make up all the dot to dot designs. Then we will build off of those shapes to create several more stunning designs. I’ll also share common troubleshooting suggestions, give you practical suggestions on where to use the designs on your quilts, and I’ll demonstrate how to quilt the designs on a sewing machine and a longarm quilting machine.

Hi Angela. I ordered the two panels plus the pillow panel. I have quilted the firstpillow panel and just absolutely love it. I have too many projects on the go right now but am looking forward to starting the small panel as soon as i get a few things finished. I love all of your videos. I quilted the Mandala panel a few months ago and its on my wall. Love it love it love. Keep up the good work. You are inspirational.
I just saw the new video for the optional borders. how do I order them I can not find them on the website?
I have placed an Order #477728 and I’m missing the large dot to dot panel and the backing. The online status shows that there is no back order. I have sent several emails and no one responded. Can someone help?

I purchased all the thread with the kit for the dot to dot challenge. I am very behind. Do I use the colored thread in my bobbins? If not, what thread and weight do you recommend using with the Glide thread?

Hi. I just signed up. Super excited. I am a new longarm quilter. I Have not purchased a ruler base for my machine. How important is that? Can i continue without a ruler base?
You can technically quilt on the longarm without a ruler base, but I wouldn’t suggest it. Without one, your more likely to break a ruler or throw your machine out of time. Hope that helps!

I don’t plan on putting them in an all-in-one pdf, so I would suggest ordering them as we go. Thanks for quilting along with me!

I ordered the large panel, thread and backing on Dec 25th, and I signed up for the class. I have never received an email for the class, nor have I heard anything about my order. I know the week from Christmas to New years it a crazy one, but I thought I would have heard something.

Hi Angela–This is the first time I am trying your Dot to Dot class. I saw the first lesson today, and you talked about which areas to start working on, and then there was a pix that starts in the upper right corner. HOWEVER, I purchased the pillow panels and since there a many fewer areas to quilt, which ones should I do each week. I want to start, but do not know which or how many to do each lesson. Hi! Im putting the borders on my small panel and find the black strips aren’t matching at the corners. I used a 1/4” seam allowance. Should it be a 1/2” seam allowance?

I already ordered the small panel and thread and thought I had checked the backing kit and didn’t. Can I still order the backing kit for the $29 and how do I get just the backing kit for small panel?
I am trying to order just the small quilt, and also the backing & the star border….but when I add these latter items, it automatically adds the large quilt size to my order. Is it because the latter two items are only available for the larger quilt based on the cut size?

Can I order the thread cones as a kit for the Dot to Dot large panel? I have the ruler, but need the panel, fat quarter coordinating pack & thread! I could not “scan” the flowchart because I am using my phone🤪.
