Quilting Classes

Quilting Classes with Angela Walters

Learn to quilt

It’s our personal mission at Quilting Is My Therapy to make learning about quilting accessible for anyone who wants to learn. Whether you’re a first-timer just learning the basics or a seasoned quilter looking to add another technique to your tool belt, our quilting classes offer something for everyone! We offer classes online and in person for those in the area.

More Classes – Coming Soon!

Stay tuned! More online classes with Angela are coming soon.

I started quilting in 2001 when my husband's grandpa passed on the family art. That first 9-patch quilt is still on my bed today! It's his same patient guidance I hope to pass on to the quilters who visit my shop or take my classes. Quilting can be enjoyed by everyone.

Quilting Is Better Together!

We all know the struggle of trying to learn something on our own.

It’s always so much easier to have someone there to show you the ropes, or threads, in this case. That’s why we offer quilting classes on everything from piecing to machine quilting. We work to cover anything that you could want to know, no matter where you are in your personal quilting journey.

At Quilting Is My Therapy we work to banish perfectionism whenever it rears its ugly head. Our quilting classes are designed to celebrate the learning process and provide an encouraging space for quilters of every skill level. You can check out our quilt-along projects if you’re looking for someone to walk you through the phases of a quilt from start to finish. We also have tutorials that zero in on a specific technique if you’re just looking to embellish your own project.

Angela hops on YouTube and does weekly live chats and demos to talk through different techniques and aspects of quilting. She often shares her current projects and her favorite quilting tools and supplies. You’re always welcome to ask questions during those chats or leave comments for Angela to answer later!

At the end of the day, we want our quilting classes to be a fun, encouraging, and interactive community. We’re adding new quilting classes and demos all the time. However, if there’s something you want to learn but can’t find a video for, you can always send us a message!
