Get to know Angela Walters
My quilting journey started in 2001 when my husband's grandpa passed on the family art and helped me create my first 9-patch quilt! It's that same patient guidance I hope to pass on to the quilters who visit my shop or take my classes so they know quilting is for everyone.

Your Go-to Shop for Quilt Patterns
Our goal at Quilting Is My Therapy is to create a space where quilters of every level can get involved.
We offer free quilt patterns, as well as patterns exclusive to our quilt shop.
Quilt patterns are the foundation of quilting. They help us know how to cut our fabric to make beautiful designs on our quilt tops. For a long time, quilt patterns were kept very simple, but with modern technology, we’ve been able to get more and more advanced.
At our quilt shop, we offer quilt patterns that are suitable for beginners all the way to seasoned quilters looking for a challenge.
Angela has been quilting for a long time and knows a thing or two about creating exciting quilt patterns that are easy to follow and fun to quilt. More than that, we regularly upload tutorials and other content to help you stitch along at your own pace. We have quilt patterns that go along with all our tutorials:

Our best tips for following quilt patterns:
- Read the whole pattern, all the way to the end, before you begin the project. We’re serious! This can help you avoid making wrong cuts in your beautiful fabric. Also, reading the whole pattern can often answer questions you have about the process before you’re ankle-deep in threads and pieces.
- Assemble your tools and supplies. Make sure you have everything you need before you start, that way you don’t lose your place because you were searching for a particular tool.
- Take it slow! By following your pattern step by step, you’re less likely to run into frustration or confusion. Of course, mistakes happen, so don’t be hard on yourself.
- Keep track of your progress. Whether you’re stepping away for a quick snack or life calls you away on an extended break, keeping track of where you are in your pattern is super helpful!
- Ask questions! The best part of getting your quilt patterns from Quilting Is My Therapy is that you can always reach out to us with questions about our products.
