Quilting Is My Therapy is a thriving community of quilters based out of our shop in Liberty, Missouri (right outside of Kansas City). We offer classes, longarm training, and community events all designed to show off how fun quilting truly can be. No matter where you are in your quilting journey, you can find encouragement here!

Quilting Is My Therapy grew out of Angela’s love of quilting. This love was sparked by her own interest and encouraged by her husband’s grandpa, who helped her make her first-ever quilt. The space that houses our beloved quilt shop was originally ended as a studio space for Angela. However, she discovered how much she loved teaching and introducing new quilters to the art form, and everything blossomed from there.

To say that I love machine quilting is an understatement. I really, I mean really love quilting! I got started many years ago when I made my first quit with the help of my husband's grandpa. That 9-patch quilt is still on my bed today. Now I teach, design fabric, and so much more with my wonderful quilting community!

Everyone needs a creative outlet. We're biased towards quilting as a great way to express your imagination.

Quilting is about learning and growing at your own pace, that's why we offer classes at every skill level!
