Pattern Updates and Corrections

We do our very best to make sure that our finishing kit patterns are perfect in every way! But, unfortunately, mistakes can happen. Check the pattern corrections and updates below:

The cutting instructions for Fabric E should read:

4 strips 3 ½” x WOF, subcut into:

     4 – 3 ½” x 16 ½” (Block A)

     4 – 3 ½” x 19 ½” (Block A)

1 strip 5 ¼” x WOF, subcut into:

     2 – 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” (Flying Geese)

Also the cutting instructions for Fabric A should read:

8 strips 2 ½” x WOF, piece to make:

       2 – 2 ½” x 79 ½” (Borders)

       2 – 2 ½” x 83 ½” (Borders)

(The last line was inadvertently cropped off the pattern.)

The cutting instructions for Fabric I should read:

Your block kit of fabric awesomeness is mailed the Friday of each scheduled monthly meeting.  (List dates) and should arrive in 2-5 days.  Internationals are mailed the Monday before each scheduled meeting and can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.

What do I do if my block does not arrive?2019-12-03T12:37:11-06:00

We ask that you give the mail at least 2 weeks.  Many times the package simply gets misrouted in the mail system and will  corrects.  If you have not received your block after two weeks, please email Joni at qimtbaq@gmail.com and she will promptly assist you.

We just hate making mistakes, but sometimes they still happen. If your block kit is missing a fabric please email Joni at qimtbaq@gmail.com and she will promptly assist you.

How does Build A Quilt Online Work?2019-10-05T00:23:51-05:00

For the Build A Quilt online option, you pay a one-time fee which includes the fabric and patterns for 10 blocks. We mail you a block kit with the fabric and pattern for a block every month (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, June, July, Aug, and Sept.).

In April, you will have the option to purchase finishing kits for your blocks. There will be three different layouts to choose from, which will include the exclusive pattern, as well as fabric for the top and binding.

As a builder, you will also have access to live videos of our BAQ meetings, exclusive products and discounts.

Parking and entrance is in back, in the parking lot.

Unfortunately, no. The pattern is exclusive to those who purchase Build A Quilt.

You can purchase as many BAQ colorways as you like. Some of our builders love to do this to make a larger quilt or multiple quilts.

What is an “Oops Kit”?2019-10-05T00:15:46-05:00

An “oops kit” is a  5 1/2″ X WOF strip of all 10 fabrics used in the BAQ blocks. Perfect to have on hand if you make a miscut or choose to switch out a fabric in one of the blocks. It’s definitely handy to have around!
