Meet Angela

My quilting journey started in 2001 when my husband's grandpa passed on the family art. He helped me create my first 9-patch quilt, and it's still on my bed today! It's that same patient guidance I hope to pass on to the quilters who visit my shop or take my classes so they know quilting is for everyone.

It started with a single quilt

Quilting Is My Therapy was born out of Angela Walter’s love of quilting and a dream for quilters of all ages and skill levels to have a space where they belonged. More than just your local spot for quilting supplies, our shop is a hub of quilting community events and classes.
