How Build A Quilt Works
Step 1: Choose your Location
Will you be quilting with us in-store (in Liberty, MO), online in the U.S., or internationally? The one-time registration fee includes the fabric and pattern for ten quilt blocks. Then, in April, you’ll have the option to purchase a layout for your BAQ blocks – choose from three different options.
Step 2: Choose your Colorway
To help make Build A Quilt fun to customize, you can choose from three different colorways options. These fabric collections, designed by Angela Walters, ensure that you end up with a quilt that you are sure to love!
This year’s color options include:
Moonblossom – Experience the richness of the Moonblossom color way, a vibrant array of prints showcased in deep, velvety purples and bold pinks, accented with cheerful pops of sherbert for a lively, eye-catching palette. Click here to see all the fabrics in this colorway.
Hidden Grove -Discover the Hidden Grove color way, an earthy palette of nature-inspired prints featuring moody blues, deep blacks, and subtle touches of sage and rust — capturing the serene beauty of the wilderness. Click here to see all the fabrics in this colorway.
Pebble & Petal -Introducing the Pebble & Petal color way, bursting with vibrant hues of reds, refreshing seafood green, and soft taupes — a lively and refreshing palette perfect for an inspiring quilt. Click here to see all the fabrics in this colorway.
Optional Oops kit – Mistakes happen and that’s alright! Get an “oops kit” fabric panel that includes a 13 1/2″ square of the fabrics in your Build a Quilt colorway. Perfect to have on hand. Click here to order.
Step 3: Participate
Starting January 16th, you’ll get a block kit every month with the fabric and pattern to make your Build A Quilt block. Then, in April, you will have the opportunity to purchase a layout kit for your blocks…choose from three different options!
You’ll also be able to:
- Join our Monthly BAQ meetings (in-person or live on the BAQ facebook group) – see the blocks, get piecing tips and ask questions.
- Join the BAQ Facebook group – Share pictures of your progress, connect with other “builders” and ask questions.
- Shop exclusive deals and projects throughout the months.
