Get to Know Angela Walters
My quilting journey started in 2001 when my husband's grandpa passed on the family art. He helped me create my first 9-patch quilt, and it's still on my bed today! It's that same patient guidance I hope to pass on to the quilters who visit my shop or take my classes so they know quilting is for everyone.
Quilting Is My Therapy was born out of Angela Walter’s love of quilting and a dream for quilters of all ages and skill levels to have a space where they belonged. More than just your local spot for quilting supplies, our shop is a hub of quilting community events and classes.

Our family-owned quilt shop is on the corner of Franklin and Main in Historic Downtown Liberty. We wanted our space to feel like a home away from home for our quilting community.
