Class Supply List:

  • A good selection of fabric scraps, keeping in mind the shades and tones of your pet photograph. 
  • Light box (if you don’t have one, there will be some to share in class)
  • Terial Magic Fabric Stabilizer (available for purchase at Quilting Is My Therapy)
  • One gallon ziplock baggie
  • Aleene’s Tacky glue pen (available for purchase at Quilting Is My Therapy)
  • Sharp scissors
  • Portable iron and mat
  • Chalk and other marking tools
  • Fine black sharpie
  • #2 pencil

Homework Before Class:

  • Choose a photo for the quilt. Ensure that it’s close up, trying to get as much of the face as you can. The higher quality and clearer the photo, the better the result.
  • Print an 8×10 color photo. It should cost you around $3.00
  • Print a black and white enlargement of your color photo to 200%. The enlargement should cost under $5.00 | go to FedEx and “scan my photo” on the self serve plotter and enlarge it to 200%.
  • Bring both the color and black and white enlargement to the workshop. Please contact us if you have any questions.
