Experienced teachers, John & Jennifer Boren will guide you through the many steps in caring for your machine and will have needed parts and supplies available for purchase.

Class details: Located at 400 N. Missouri St, Liberty MO with John & Jennifer Boren. July 20th from 1:00-5pm

Supplies:

  • Singer Featherweight sewing machine (in good working order)
  • Good Needle, Sewing Thread, Full Bobbin
  • 1 roll of Paper Towels & a few cotton swabs
  • Screwdriver that came with your machine, or a 6” standard screwdriver (the correct size will fit the throat plate screw)
  • Flashlight
  • Fabric Scraps (for testing)
  • Oiler with long tip and machine oil
  • Singer Sewing Machine grease/lubricant
  • Optional (but recommended): Apron, old bath towel, tweezers, lint brush, magnetic dish

John & Jen Will Provide to Each Participant:

  • 2 oz. Bottle of Kerosene w/dropper (to take home)
  • Disposable brush and gloves to use with the kerosene
  • Disposable oil pad
