One thing that I am constantly amazed at is the fact that this industry is full of so many talented, wonderful,  and fun people. People like Molly Hanson. I met her at a show and we quickly became friends. She love machines quilting as much as I do, and I am so excited to help her brag about her book a little bit. It’s called Free-Motion Quilting for Beginners (and those who think they can’t).

Here on my blog, I encourage people to have fun machine quilting their quilts as well as give tips to improve their skills. I am assuming that the reader has a basic understanding of the free-motion quilting process. But what if you, or someone you know, doesn’t? What if you are just starting out with free-motion quilting?

That’s where this book comes in! Molly, in her easy-to-read way, walks you though the steps of free-motion quilting. But she does it in such a genius way. Instead of having you quilt samples to be set aside and never seen again, she shows you how to turn them into useable things. Now you can show off your awesome quilting to all your family and friends, even complete strangers at the store.

She starts off with words, which is something almost everyone can do right off the bat……then guides you through other designs and fun projects.

And, she even used some fabric from my Legacy collection to make this adorable dog bed…I want this doggie sooooo bad!!!
