Join me for our 2nd annual Quilt Walk on June 15th!!

Just 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Historic Downtown Liberty is known for it’s “home-town” feel and amazing locally owned shops. Now, it’s organizing an event of a different kind; a Quilt Walk.

The Quilt Walk is a quilting show-and-tell hosted by the local shops, and includes events, demos and giveaways for quilters and non-quilters alike. Jean Warren, owner of James County Mercantile, states, “The historic downtown area is the perfect backdrop for an event like this. I just love how the businesses are jumping in and supporting this event. It’s sure to be huge!”

Experience the Quilts and Events

Attendees will be treated to an array of quilts while wandering in and around participating businesses. Displays will include vintage quilts, multi-generational quilts, modern quilts and more.

For more family fun, take part in demonstrations, games and events. Then join local quilters and business owners, Angela Walters and Jean Warren, who will each be presenting a trunk show.

Make the Free Quilt

Designed exclusively for this event by Angela Walters, each participating business will be handing out free quilt block patterns, 24 in total, as well as finishing instructions to make a special quilt of their own.
