After what seems like ages and ages, my latest fabric collection Drawn is finally in stock. I can’t even tell you how excited that I am. Looking at the collection, I am sure that you will be able to see the inspiration behind the designs. I just love machine quilting.
Drawn consists of a focal print and 5 coordinating prints in 3 different color ways.
Drawn in the Pond Colorway
Drawn in the Pewter Colorway
Drawn in the Sorbet Colorway
Kona Coordinated
One of my favorite things about the collection is that each of the prints coordinates with a Kona solid. That should make it easier to pick out the perfect colors for whatever project that you are working on!
Precuts
For the first time, my fabric is available in precuts, yay for not cutting fabric! You have the option of Fat Quarter bundles (in each of the color ways) and 10 squares.
Drawn Wide
Be still my beating heart, I am a huge fan of extra wide quilt backs! By time I am done piecing the quilt top, the last thing I want to do it piece another “quilt” for the back. That’s why I was thrilled at the opportunity to design extra wide backs directly inspired by machine quilting!
There are 3 prints in several different colors and, just like the regular Drawn Collection, they are Kona solid coordinating as well! There are a few white on white and white on ivory options as well.
There are so many options! My fingers are crossed that you will love it as much as I do.
Blended Squares
And just in case you weren’t sure what you could do with the prints, here is a free pattern for you to try out. (Stay tuned for more free patterns!)
This small quick quilt is a free pattern that shows just how versatile the collection can be! (Quilt kit available on my online store)
All the fabric is available on my online store, so be sure to check it out if you are interested! All orders will get a “Quilting Is My Therapy” chocolate as well. Who doesn’t love fabric AND chocolate?
Giveaway
Whew! That’s a lot of pictures and a lot of details! To thank you for actually reading the whole post ,and for reading my blog in general, how about a giveaway?
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which colorway is your favorite. (Although I would love any shoutouts on social media that you would like to do!)
Next Monday, I will pick a lucky winner and they will win a FQ bundle in their favorite colorway. (Sorry! US Residents only.)
Happy Quilting!
Love the pond…want ALLL of the Drawn fabric!!!! Thank you Angela Walters!!!
So hard to choose, but the Pond collection really floats my boat and gets me inspired. Love the wide backing patterns! Just follow the lines and quilt it from the backside. Can’t wait!
Love the aqua color. Such a great idea to have wide fabric for the back of quilts!
Angela, This is my first time on your website. My daughter actually found it as she wants me to make the baby quilt you did on October 11, 2012. I am a bit of a novice so need guidance on pattern and/or instructions on how to make it. I sent you a separate email about this earlier this morning.
I too especially like the pewter colors you put together but also like the others.
I am very impressed with your fabrics. They are so different I am sure when I am ready I won’t find them in my local quilt shop. I will order them from you online. I am in Arizona but if I ever get to Missouri I will definitely stop by your shop.
Love the Pewter. Hope I can find some.
Angela, thanks so much for coming to teach at the Des Moines Quilt Guild. I am quilting on the yellow/blue/lime quilt I showed the top at end of the first day. Now on the border so going through your 4 books again to pick out a border pattern. Having loads of fun.
Color I liked the best was the blue/green/grey combo.
Just learned that a granddaughter is getting married in October – so need to get busy on a quilt there.
Again, thanks

My first time seeing your gorgeous fabrics! I am especially taken with the Pewters and I generally stay away from this colorway. LOVE it and the Pond!
